Get creative at the Carolina Beach Street Arts Festival
CAROLINA BEACH, NC (WWAY) — Looking for some fun this weekend? Head over to Pleasure Island for the annual Street Arts Festival.
This Saturday, May 20th, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Cape Fear Boulevard will be filled with street performers and local artists.
Chris Higgins, one of the co-founders of the festival, stopped by Good Morning Carolina to tell us about all the events.
From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., catch performer ‘Kidvision’ break dancing. At 11:30 a.m., Salty Dog Yoga encourages you to bring a mat and join the free one-hour yoga session. At 11:30 a.m., get your groove on with some Zumba Fitness. Later, at 2 p.m., catch a performance by Terpsichore Dance, a children’s troupe from Southern Pines.
There will be local vendors with various arts and crafts for sale, food trucks, and much more.
