Girls hit the runway to support kids with cancer this weekend
WILMINGTON (NC) — Girls hit the runway Sunday to support kids with cancer at the first A Child’s Hope Young Miss Southern Soiree Fashion Show.
Sporting fashions from Downtown Darlings, the models will be doing their part to raise money and awareness for children who have or are affected by cancer.
The event promises a fun filled day for kids, parents and grandparents as this new program from Women of Hope begins working with area families.
Co-Founder Elizabeth Barnes says “right now there is no place in Wilmington for kids to get cancer treatment so they have to go to the Raleigh area. We want to help them on their journey.”
Tickets are available at Downtown Darlings, Kenny Barnes Portrait Studio or www.eventbrite.com
