GlenCare moves administrator to different location
The Wilmington assisted living facility in danger of losing its license has moved at least one of the employees involved in the violations to other facilities. The state suspended new admissions and threatened to revoke GlenCare of Wilmington’s license.
In a letter of response, GlenCare vice president Ann Kornegay said, “we have replaced management in this facility and many staff members” and that Glenn Kornegay had taken over as administrator.
GlenCare of Wilmington administrator Kathryn Sessoms was transferred to a facility the Kornegays own in Snow Hill.
We called Glenn Kornegay for comment, but he did not return our phone calls.
