Go Gas re-opens

Gas is once again flowing at area Go Gas stations.

When the company’s gas pumps ran dry over the weekend, they did not refuel.

Managers said their wholesale cost was way too high, and they didn’t want to pass that cost on to their customers.

Today, Go Gas was able to get gas from one supplier. An area manager told us the stations aren’t making any money on it because gas is being sold at cost for $3.99 a gallon of regular.

Tammy Foster, cashier, said “We’ve been busy, steady, better than yesterday.”

Go Gas managers said they plan to continue selling gas as long as they can buy and sell it at a competitive price.
