Gov. Cooper to visit Port of Wilmington

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Governor Roy Cooper is making a visit to Wilmington Tuesday.

Cooper will visit the Port of Wilmington at 11 a.m. for a tour of NC Ports’ new cranes.

He will also receive an update from the NC ports executive director on how the cranes have improved efficiency at the state’s largest port.

Two of the three cranes arrived from China on March 29.

The third crane is expected to be delivered next year.
