Governor goes Hollywood

Gov. Bev Perdue is in Hollywood trying to get business for Hollywood East. The governor and Commerce Secretary Keith Crisco are leading a group of 20 Commerce Department officials, film boosters and others on a three-day trade mission to Los Angeles.

Their goal is to let producers know about North Carolina’s increased tax incentives for film projects. They’ll also tout the Tar Heel State as a great place to shoot.
