Graham library dedicated

CHARLOTTE (AP) — He moved with the help of a walker and his voice was hoarse, but the Reverend Billy Graham thanked a crowd of about 1,500 for turning out for today's ceremony dedicating his library.

Graham even joked to the crowd saying, quote, "I feel like I've been attending my own funeral." He said he was humbled by the event, but he also said that after he toured the library that there was "too much Billy Graham."

He also paid homage to his wife, Ruth, who he said has been confined to bed for the last six months. Graham said that more than him, she deserved to be at the dedication in Charlotte.

Former Presidents Bill Clinton, George H-W Bush and Jimmy Carter attended the ceremony. George Beverly Shea, whose voice graced Graham's crusades for years, sang his trademark song, "How Great Thou Art."
