Granddaughter of crash victim home from hospital

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The little girl hurt in a crash Sunday that killed her grandmother is out of the hospital. Relatives say 20-month-old Nevaeh Brown came home from the hospital today and is doing well.

Her grandmother Anna Brown was rushing her to the hospital Sunday after a dog bit Nevaeh when she ran a red light at Kerr Ave. and MLK Parkway and was hit by another car.

The family says a visitation for Anna Brown is scheduled for Saturday 6-8 p.m. at Davis Funeral Home at 901 5th Street in Wilmington. Her funeral is Sunday at 2 p.m. and Kendall Chapel on NC 133 in Brunswick County.
