Greensboro school bus crash injures 6 students, driver in critical condition

GREENSBORO (AP) — Six elementary school students and a bus driver were hurt when their school bus flipped over near Greensboro.

Highway Patrol Trooper S.W. Myers said the driver was in critical condition Monday, but the six Southern Elementary School students were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening
injuries.

Guilford County Schools officials said the bus driver ran off the right side of the road, overcorrected and crossed the roadway.

The bus flipped before landing upright.

The wreck happened just before 7 a.m. south of Greensboro.
