Groundbreaking ceremony for butterfly house at Airlie Gardens

Tuesday afternoon Airlie Gardens will break ground for the first permanent butterfly house in the region.

Last summer Airlie had butterflies in a temporary space. The new butterfly house will be home to eleven native species of butterflies. The Airlie butterfly house will allow visitors to have a more hands on experience that they can apply in their own backyards.

The groundbreaking ceremony starts at 4:30 p.m.
