Halyburton Park’s scheduled burn on Thursday

Wilmington’s Halyburton Park will be closed for most of the day Thursday to accommodate a prescribed burn.

About 13 acres at the park will be burned in order to reduce the risk of wildfire and improve the habitat for wildlife.
