Hampstead couple killed in Arizona crash

GLENDALE, AZ (KNXV) — Authorities say two people have died after an accident in Glendale, AZ, Sunday afternoon.

The collision happened at 75th Avenue and Bell Road around 3:20 p.m.

Glendale police Officer Tracey Breeden identified the victims as 71-year-old Robert Kelly and his wife 70-year-old Nelda Kelly of Hampstead.

Breeden said an adult male in his 30s drove his silver sedan through a red light while traveling north on 75th Avenue and hit a white sedan traveling east on Bell Road. The white sedan then hit an SUV next to it.
