Hampstead man is charged with five counts of 2nd degree sexual exploitation

A Hampstead man is charged with five counts of 2nd degree sexual exploitation of a minor.
Christopher Rouse was the target of a joint investigation by the Pender County Sheriff’s Office and the FBI.

Investigators found images depicting the sexual exploitation of children, some as young as toddlers, on Rouse’s computer. Investigators believe movie files on the computer may have been recorded by Rouse in various locations in southeastern North Carolina.
