HAPPENING FRIDAY: CFCC’s annual fair focusing on health, wellness

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Cape Fear Community College will host its annual Harvest Health, Wellness and Safety Fair tomorrow on its campus downtown.

The fair, which is on the fifth floor of Union Station, will feature things like tips on fire prevention and financial protection, sample nutritious foods, healthy lifestyle tips and even get a chiropractic adjustment. There’s also free, confidential HIV testing and hands-only CPR demonstrations. Organizers of the event ask that those attending bring a canned food item for the Food Bank of Central and Eastern North Carolina.

The event runs from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m.
