HAPPENING MONDAY: DOT to discuss Diverging Diamond project

WILMINGTON,  NC (WWAY) — Next week, engineers with the NCDOT will provide an update on the progress of the Diverging Diamond project in Brunswick County. The update includes another closure of a busy Leland road.

NCDOT crews will be closing the same area of NC 133, also known as Village Road and River Road, the first weekend in December to finish the project. On Monday, engineers will explain that process and the finished product, similar to the image you see here.

The closure will start December 4 at 9 p.m. and open back up Monday morning in the new traffic pattern.
