Happening this Weekend: 2014 NC Festival by the Sea in Holden Beach

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Happening this weekend is the 35th Annual North Carolina Festival by the Sea in Holden Beach.

The two days of festivities features arts and crafts, music, contests and activities for the whole family.

Saturday is the only day of the year you can walk across the Holden Beach bridge to get the best view of the island.

For the more adventurous there will be balloon rides and for anglers there is the annual fishing tournament.

Events start Saturday at 9 a.m. and go through Sunday afternoon.
