Happening today: Mobile Mammography Unit in Shallotte

SHALLOTTE, NC (WWAY) — Novant Health’s mobile mammography unit is in Shallotte today.

The machine brings screenings to various areas around the state. Their hope is to ensure all women have access to breast health services, regardless of ability to pay or travel to a full-service imaging center.

The unit is set up at St. Brendan’s Catholic Church at 5101 Ocean Hwy W Shallotte, NC 28470 until 4:00 p.m..
