HAPPENING TODAY: Southport-Fort Fisher Ferry alternative schedule

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The Southport-Fort Fisher Ferry is running on an alternative schedule Thursday, April 7.

According to a release from the NCDOT, the ferry schedule will run as follows:

Departing Southport: 5:30 a.m., 7, 7:45, 8:30, 1 p.m., 1:45, 2:30, 3:15, 4, 4:45, and 6:15 p.m.

Departing Fort Fisher: 6:15 a.m, 7:45, 8:30, 9:15, 1:45 p.m., 2:30, 3:15, 4, 4:45, 5:30, and 7 p.m.

The route will return to it’s regular schedule on Friday, April 8.
