Happening This Weekend: 3rd Annual Pleasure Island Shopping Spree

CAROLINA BEACH, NC (WWAY) — Happening this weekend you can shop till you drop at the third annual Pleasure Island Shopping Spree.

More than a dozen shops, restaurants and cafes will take part with special discounts, raffles and a party on Sunday to announce winners of awards.

Coordinator Jeanne McBane said the event is to help people get a jump on holiday shopping and support small businesses on the island.

The event is Saturday from 10 til 6 with the closing party at 4pm on Sunday.
