WILMINGTON (StarNews) — As families and friends gather together on Dec. 25 to celebrate Christmas Day, many local stores in Wilmington will close their doors, temporarily suspending business to allow employees to engage in their own holiday season festivities.

But what happens when you realize you’re missing one crucial ingredient in your recipe or need to grab a last-minute bottle of wine for a gift?
