HEALTH FAIR 2019 PREVIEW: Diabetes awareness

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Thursday is the big day! Join WWAY and New Hanover Regional Medical Center for the 2019 Health Fair. The free event is 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at Independence Mall in Wilmington.

Among the many things you can learn is whether you are at risk for diabetes. NHRMC is offering free blood sugar screenings.

As we get ready for the Health Fair, Dr. Joshua Jones, a pharmacist, discussed diabetes risks and how you can lower your risk factors. Check out the video above.
