Hearing begins in Ocean Isle Beach parasailing deaths

The Coast Guard will hold a formal hearing into that fatal parasailing accident late last month in Ocean Isle Beach.

Investigators have recalled the crew of the parasailing vessel Tied High and several of its passengers for the hearing that starts Wednesday.

They are trying to finalize the timeline of events leading up to the accident that killed two women.

The hearing starts at 9:00 Wednesday morning in the New Hanover County Courthouse.
