Hernandez and son had more cocaine than thought

New Hanover County Sheriff’s deputies say they found more drugs than originally thought, in a recent drug trafficking investigation.

Last week, we reported Louis Hernandez and his son Oscar were facing charges after being found with 2 kilos of cocaine, valued at nearly a quarter-of-a-million dollars.

Tuesday, the New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office said another kilo had been found inside a secret compartment of the Hernandez’s car.

The two are from Leland and are being held in the New Hanover County Jail.
