SWAT team conducts search in Brunswick County

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A Bolivia man is in jail after Brunswick County S.W.A.T. team says they found heroin at his house while executing a search warrant.

According to the Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office, 36-year-old Jerry Junior Hill is facing charges for possession of heroin with intent to manufacture, sell, and deliver. He is also being charged with possession of a firearm by a felon. Authorities seized 33 bindles of heroin, 1.5 g of cocaine, and a handgun.

Warrants show Hill was previously convicted of taking indecent liberties with a child.

Hill is being held in the Brunswick County Jail under a $750,000 bond.
