Historic Home Tour: Freeman-Peters House

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A classic cottage in Wilmington’s Carolina Place neighborhood is a stop on the Azalea Festival Historic Home Tour.

The Freeman-Peters House dates back to 1912, when it was built for a clerk from the Atlantic Coast Railroad. The home features a great porch and picket fence and, of course, a prominent azalea out front.

Visit the Freeman-Peters House at 1805 Perry Avenue on this year’s Azalea Festival Historic Home Tour Saturday and Sunday.
