Home sales in Wilmington cool off for August

Home sales in Wilmington took a hit last month.

The latest numbers released by the Wilmington area Realtors Association show home sales dropped to 380 in August. That is down from 435 in July.

Our area was also down from August a year ago.

WRAR President April McDavid said that home sales usually lag this time of year since parents are usually busy getting their children back to school.
