House fire Sunday night in Navassa

Firefighters in Navassa had a late night fighting a house fire.

A call came in to Brunswick County 911 dispatch at 10:15 p.m. Sunday night reporting the fire on Navassa Road.

Dispatchers tells us the blaze destroyed the home. Owens Road and South Navassa Road off of Village Road in Leland were both closed, but have since reopened.

There were no injuries reported. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
