Hunters Trail shooting victim recovering, suspect still wanted

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Wilmington Police are still searching for the suspect, or suspects, in a Friday night shooting.

The victim, a 20-year-old male, is expected to recover, police said.

The shooting happened around 7:30 p.m. on Friday near the 5000 block of Hunters Trail.

Police say the victim was shot multiple times.
