Illegal nightclub raided in Bladen Co.

BLADEN COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — North Carolina Alcohol Law Enforcement special agents said a man and woman are facing charges after they said they raided an illegal nightclub in Bladenboro.

ALE officers said they raided the Honey Hole located at 88 Spivey and Currie Drive along with deputies from the sheriff”s office after they said they received numerous complaints. The raid happened at about 2:30 a.m. They said during the raid about 100 people were inside. Two guns, alcohol, weed, prescription medication, cocaine and drug paraphernalia were also in the home, according to a news release.

Investigators said Michael Spivey, 38, is facing charges including possession of a firearm by a felon and possessing for sale alcoholic beverages without the applicable permits. They also charged Latonya McCutchen, 40, on charges of selling alcoholic beverages without obtaining the applicable ABC permit.
