ILM lands $2.4 million in federal funds

Millions of dollars in federal funds is headed to ILM. Wilmington International airport has received $2.4 million for infrastructure improvements.

Specifically, the funds will be used for storm water upgrades and install a pipe system to accommodate future development of the general aviation area.

Construction of the storm water project will start this fall.
