Industrial business planned near ‘hidden’ New Hanover lake

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (STARNEWS) — A popular New Hanover County fishing destination could soon have a new neighbor.

Developers are working to bring a new industrial park to a 5.67-acre lot a few blocks away from Sutton Lake, according to site plans submitted to New Hanover in early June. The property’s zoning allows for heavy industrial uses including manufacturing, fabrication, assembly, warehousing and distribution.
