Insurance commissioner holding meeting in Leland

LELAND, NC (WWAY) — State Insurance Commissioner Wayne Goodwin is planning a stop in Brunswick County tonight.

According to a spokesman from his office, Goodwin will be in Leland to help residents in the area understand home ownership and various insurance that comes with ownership. He’ll also help outline gaps in different types of coverage.

The public event is scheduled for 6 p.m. at the Leland Town Hall.
