Investigation into Bladen woman’s death continues

An update on a story you saw first on 3 last night. A man turned himself into investigators after the story about 50-year-old Ezellas Allen. She was killed along Highway 87 in the Carver’s Creek Community of Bladen County Sunday night.

Police say Allen was hit by one car, which drove off, and then hit by several more cars. Highway Patrol says it is not sure what role the man who came forward played in the incident, but they have obtained his car.

The incident is still under investigation.
