Investigators looking into cause after fire breaks out at CFCC North Campus

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Investigators are looking into the cause of a fire that happened Friday morning at Cape Fear Community College’s North Campus.

New Hanover County Fire Rescue responded shortly after 10 a.m. They were able to get the blaze quickly under control and start smoke removal.

The fire was contained to the second floor.

Investigators are working to determine a cause.
