Isabel Holmes bridge closed tonight

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The Isabel Holmes Bridge will be closed for mechanical and electrical repairs starting at 8 p.m. until 5 a.m.

The DOT says traffic is being detoured over the Cape Fear Memorial Bridge during the shutdown. Drivers are encouraged to avoid 3rd street downtown due to the city’s on-going construction.
