Jacksonville man killed after falling from tractor

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (StarNews) — A Jacksonville man was killed Tuesday after being run over by a farm tractor he was operating.
William Keith Stone, 52, of 513 Palm Place, Jacksonville, was operating the tractor with a bush hog attachment along the shoulder of North College Road Road six miles north of Wilmington about 4:15 p.m., according to the State Highway Patrol. The bush hog attachment is used to cut grass and brush along the shoulder of a road.
