Azalea Festival Historic Home Tour Highlight – The Jacob Weil House

When you live in a historic house there’s a certain obligation to preserve the home for future generations. Mark Kennedy and his wife have done just that at the Jacob Weil House on South 6th Street.

Wilmington native Henry Bonitz designed the home 114 years ago. Not many homeowners living in a house this old have the original surviving house plans, but Mark Kennedy does.

The house is one one nine that will be featured on the Historic Wilmington Home tour this weekend.
