Jayhlen Washington adds another national title

GREENSBORO, NC (WWAY) — Jayhlen Washington is adding to his already impressive week with another national title.

Today the Cape Fear Flyer athlete and North Brunswick graduate claimed the triple jump national championship at the USA Track and Field Nationals in Greensboro.

Washington jumped 50’11.5″ and cleared the second place opponent by just .5″.
