Judge orders Sun Spa, Playmates closed

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Two Brunswick County businesses accused of being havens for drugs and prostitutes are closed for good. A judge has issued permanent injunctions against Sun Spa and playmates exotic dancing. The county argued they were a public nuisance.

Deputies raided the businesses earlier this year, arresting several people on drug and prostitution charges. The Sheriff’s Office made a similar bust on both places last summer as well.
