Kids enjoy fright-free event at Battleship North Carolina

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — It was a spooktacular good time for kids at the Battleship North Carolina Tuesday night. The event is designed to not be quite as spooky as others. From super heroes to little monsters, tiny tots dressed up in their Halloween’s best for the 3rd Annual Batty Battleship Halloween Bash. Kids could enjoy pony and camel rides, freshly popped popcorn and of course, lots of candy.

Dressed as Ironman, Tanner Newbank said, “I rode a horse. I’m about to ride a camel. I got a bunch of candy and I already got two things of icecream.”

Even with the cooler temperatures, the event still turned out a good crowd. From the itty bitty kids to the big kids, all seemed to have a little Halloween fun.
