Kure Beach holds street festival

The town of Kure Beach celebrated spring on Saturday with its annual street festival.

Parts of K and Atlantic avenues were filled with vendors selling arts and crafts, and good food.

Onlookers were able to enjoy the sweet sounds of several area bands, including the Brunswick Big Band.

The street festival was a family event.

“My favorite part of today was seeing all my friends and family here and having a great time,” said Kure local Jeffrey Hubbard.

The festival is held every year on the last Saturday in the month of April.
