Land donated to CFCC for research

Things at Cape Fear community College are going to get wild.

Cape Fear Community College has become the owner of the newly established Judia Blackburn Sanders Nature Preserve in New Hanover County.

Nathan Sanders donated more than 300 acres of undeveloped waterfront property along River Road. CFCC students in marine technology, biology, landscape and gardening will be able to study wildlife and plants on the property.
