Lane closures expected over Wrightsville Beach bridge for NCDOT work

WRIGHTSVILLE BEACH, NC (WWAY) — Drivers traveling on the U.S. 76 Bridge over Banks Channel should be alert for temporary lane closures, starting Monday, June 4.

The closures are needed to allow N.C. Department of Transportation crews to safely perform scheduled bridge inspection and maintenance work.

The lane closures will take place between 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. each night through June 27.

Driver may encounter delays through the inspection site.
