Lane closures planned for Snow’s Cut Bridge

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The NCDOT is planning daytime lane closers on the Snow’s Cut Bridge next week.

The intermittent closures start Monday and continue through Wednesday. They will between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. each day weather permitting.

The closures are necessary for crews to perform concrete repairs on the bridge between mainland New Hanover County and Pleasure Island. The bridge will remain open to traffic during the work.

Motorists are advised to use caution while traveling in the area and to expect delays. NCDOT reminds motorists to watch signs for construction information, stay alert and obey the posted speed limit.
