Lane closures planned for CFMB

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The NCDOT is planning an inspection of the Cape Fear Memorial Bridge, and that means lane closures.

A NCDOT spokesman said the intermittent lane closures will start on Monday and go into the next week. The NCDOT Bridge Maintenance Department will be doing inspections on the bridge, which is required by the FAA every other year, the spokesman said.

The closures will be from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. Friday.  Closures will end on Wednesday, February 17.
