Lane closures on Surf City bridge continue tonight

RALEIGH (NEWS RELEASE) — The NC Department of Transportation will again temporarily close one of two lanes on the bridge on NC 210/NC 50 in Surf City tonight from 9 p.m. to 5:30 a.m., weather permitting.

In addition to the lane closures, the entire bridge will be closed for 30-minute intervals throughout the night.

The lane closures are necessary so crews can perform routine maintenance on the bridge.
