Lanes on Cape Fear Memorial Bridge closing overnight

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Work to repair a damaged guardrail on the Cape Fear Memorial Bridge will cause two lanes to close overnight.

According to the Town of Leland’s Facebook page, the North Carolina Department of Transportation will be doing the work from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. Wednesday.

The outside lanes in each direction will be open, but expect congestion.

Drivers may seek alternate routes.
