Laney dominates New Hanover in soccer

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Thursday marked the conference opener in high school soccer for both Laney and New Hanover. On paper these two teams appear to be the top two teams in the Mideastern Conference this year, but Laney dominated New Hanover on Thursday night. The Bucs won 5-1 at Legion Stadium. Laney improves to 5-1 on the season. New Hanover drops to 5-4.
