Lara Trump to host Women for Trump event in Wilmington

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump’s daughter-in-law is coming home again to campaign.

Lara Trump, who grew up in the Wilmington area, will host a North Carolina Women for Trump forum Thursday in Wilmington. It’s scheduled for 2 p.m. at the Terraces on Sir Tyler at 1826 Sir Tyler Drive.

Lara is married to Donald’s son Eric.

This is just the latest event for the Trump campaign in the Wilmington area in the past month. Earlier this month Donald Trump filled UNCW’s Trask Coliseum for a rally. Last week Trump’s running mate Mike Pence toured the Port of Wilmington before a visit and rally at a Leland manufacturing plant. Lara and other campaign surrogates met with female supporters in New Hanover and Brunswick counties just before the UNCW rally to organize future events, according to the StarNews.
