Missing child found safe

NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC (WWAY) – A missing child has been found safe.

New Hanover County 911 says the 3 1/2 year old child was reported missing on Antoinette Drive, near Monkey Junction.

New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office spokesman, Lt. Jerry Brewer, says the mother was having a panic attack and couldn’t find her child.  The child was later found safe inside the home.
